It is going to be for "If I Only Had A Gun" but I don't know if I'm going to stick with that name. Anyway...I am having trouble finishing the plot summary so I don't know how I'll make it through the actual script. I know it will open with a rendition of the song "John Henry" by the famed pop duo Pope John Paul the Third. It has a really great sound and I feel it is only right to start off my first "real" movie with a tribute to John Henry. It will also contain the music of the hit jazz(?) group Strip Mall Seizures. Anyway, the movie will chronicle the dating tragedies of a high school boy which, combined with his numerous familial problems, will lead him to make mulitple attempts at suicide. It may sound morbid or insane, but he never acutually succeeds, so the movie doesn't end in death, and it can therefore be classified as a comedy, which makes everyone happy. Yay! My goal is to finish up the summary by tomorrow, which means I will have all the details of the plot worked out. I want to finish the treatment by 15th, and have the script done by mid-October. So then, after the screenplay and storyboard, I think I should be able to say I have offically finished writing the movie by December 31st. Good deal. Now I just have to stick to those "deadlines" or I will never get this thing finished. But I think it will be good enough to go to film festivals and such, which is all I can really hope for with no money and no professionals.
